55+ Senior Scams – Fraud and Identity Theft Information/Self-Protection

The Senior Connect Interactive Information Session (SCIIS) is another way for Orange County Sheriff’s Office to connect with the elderly community to advance communication, trust, and promote relationships with law enforcement.

SCIIS is free to seniors 55+ and held throughout the year at different locations in Orange County. Topics vary at each location from Crime prevention, Victim Advocate, Self-Defense, Economic Crimes such as Scam/Fraud and much more.

Seniors have the opportunity to communicate directly with deputy sheriffs of various ranks and receive firsthand knowledge as they are subject matter experts in their field.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office goal is to educate, empower and reduce victimization of the elderly.
