47th Annual Food Drive at Cracker Christmas

Mark your calendar for the 47th annual Cracker Christmas event on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Please bring any non-perishable food items for Orange County Parks and Recreation’s holiday food drive to benefit our Orange County neighbors in need (drop off at park entrance during the event).

This free event includes a chance to write a letter to Santa, drop it in the mailbox and take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Shop craft vendor booths for handmade items. There will be pioneer demonstrators: weaving, Civil War camp, cane grinding and syrup making, spinning, blacksmithing, broom making, lace making, early cow camp, wood carving, early tractors and more!

Local 4-H groups, FFA Chapters and community groups will sell BBQ, gator meat, smoked pork, beef, biscuits and more. For more information, email parks@ocfl.net.

With the exception of ADA service animals, no pets are permitted in Fort Christmas Historical Park. Alcohol is prohibited in the park.
